Adex Gel Pump 500g

Description

Adex Gel is a moisturising emollient gel for dry, irritated and inflamed skin. As well as moisturising, it contains nicotinamide (a form of vitamin B3), which adds an anti-inflammatory action. It can be used as part of the everyday care of skin prone to eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis, helping to moisturise the skin and support its natural barrier.

The gel spreads easily, so it suits regular use through the day, including during flare-ups when dry skin is at its most troublesome. The 500g pump is handy for larger areas and for family use. It is suitable for adults and children from 1 year of age.

How to use

Apply three times a day, or as often as needed. Smooth gently over the dry or inflamed skin in the direction of hair growth, rather than rubbing it in hard. If you also use a steroid cream or another skin treatment, follow its instructions and let it soak in first (usually about 30 minutes for a steroid cream) before applying Adex Gel. Keep it away from your eyes. If your skin has not improved within 2 to 4 weeks, ask your pharmacist or GP. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask your pharmacist before use. Always read the leaflet.

Emollients that soak into clothing, bedding or dressings can make them catch fire more easily. Keep away from naked flames and lit cigarettes, and change and wash fabrics often.
