Yes. We deliver anywhere in the Republic of Ireland, Monday to Saturday. Orders are packed in our Portlaoise pharmacy, usually within 1 working day. Please allow 2 to 5 working days for delivery. There are no deliveries on Sundays or bank holidays. When your order leaves the pharmacy, we email you with your tracking details.

Delivery is €6 per order, anywhere in the Republic of Ireland. It is one flat price with no minimum order. Prescription medicines that need a fridge go by tracked cold-chain courier for €10. If shop items go in the same parcel, delivery is still €10 in total.

Yes, when you ask us to and our pharmacist agrees that delivery is suitable. You cannot buy prescription medicines through our online shop. Your doctor can send your prescription straight to us by Healthmail. Our pharmacist checks every prescription and contacts you about your medicine before we dispense it.

• Medicines that need a fridge go by tracked, temperature-controlled (cold-chain) courier for €10, usually arriving within 24 to 48 hours of dispatch. If shop items go in the same parcel, delivery is still €10 in total.
• Medicines that do not need a fridge: we can deliver these too. Contact us on WhatsApp 085 840 7548 or call 057 866 1999 to arrange it.

We only take payment for a prescription delivery after our pharmacist has checked your prescription and contacted you. A prescription delivery must be signed for by you or someone you name. The courier will not leave it unattended. You can also collect your prescription from our pharmacy in Portlaoise. To reorder a prescription, use our Prescription Refill Form.

We deliver to addresses in the Republic of Ireland only. We cannot deliver to Northern Ireland, Great Britain or other countries. For costs, delivery times, tracking and what happens if you miss a delivery, see our delivery information.

You can pay by card (Visa, Mastercard and others) through Stripe, or with Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal. Our prices include VAT where applicable. If you collect a prescription from the pharmacy, you can pay for it there. For a prescription delivery, we send you a secure payment link once our pharmacist has checked your prescription and contacted you.

Use our online Prescription Refill Form. Fill in your details and medication information, and we’ll send the request directly to our pharmacists via WhatsApp. We’ll confirm availability and have your prescription ready to collect, or arrange delivery if you ask us to.

Yes, we accept GMS (General Medical Services) and Drugs Payment Scheme (DPS) prescriptions. Please bring your medical card or DPS card with your prescription when collecting in-store, or include your details in the online prescription form.

Yes. The easiest way is to ask your doctor to send your next prescription straight to Laois Pharmacy by Healthmail. A Healthmail prescription that has already gone to another pharmacy can only be passed on in exceptional cases, so please ask your doctor rather than the other pharmacy. For a paper prescription or any other question, call us on 057 866 1999 or pop in-store and our team will help.

Most standard prescriptions are filled within 15 to 30 minutes. If you submit a prescription refill request online in advance, we can have it ready for collection before you arrive. For complex or compounded medications, it may take longer. We will always let you know.

For most items, you have 14 days from delivery to tell us you want to cancel. If you change your mind, we cannot take back:

• Any medicine, prescription or non-prescription, once it has left our pharmacy
• Hygiene-sealed items, such as skincare, toiletries and intimate care products, once opened

This does not apply if an item is faulty or we sent the wrong item. See our returns and refunds policy for full details.

Contact us first by calling 057 866 1999, emailing info@laoispharmacy.com or messaging us on WhatsApp with your order details. If you have changed your mind, you can also use our Cancel contract here form. We’ll guide you through the return process. You can return items by post or in-store at our Portlaoise location.

We’re sorry to hear that. Please contact us as soon as you can on 057 866 1999 or via WhatsApp with your order number and a photo of the item. We pay the cost of sending it back. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund as quickly as we can.

We refund you within 14 days of the day you tell us you are cancelling. We may wait until we receive the items back, or proof that you posted them. In practice, we usually process refunds within 3 to 5 working days of receiving the items. We refund to the same payment method you used. The time it takes to show in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.

We are based at 1 Dunamaise House, Lyster Square, Portlaoise, Co. Laois, R32 HD72. We serve customers across Portlaoise, Mountmellick, Portarlington, Stradbally, Abbeyleix and the wider Co. Laois area. Our online shop delivers anywhere in the Republic of Ireland.

Yes. All products sold by Laois Pharmacy are genuine and come from authorised Irish and EU wholesalers. We are a registered pharmacy, regulated by the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI), registration number 5922. We are also on the PSI Internet Supply List (number 10001781), which allows us to sell non-prescription medicines online.
