How much does delivery cost?
Delivery costs €6 per order, anywhere in the Republic of Ireland. It is one flat price with no minimum order.
Prescription medicines that need a fridge go by tracked cold-chain courier for €10. If shop items go in the same parcel, delivery is still €10 in total. See Do you deliver prescription medicines? below.
You will see the delivery charge at checkout before you pay. Our prices include VAT where applicable. You can pay by card (Visa, Mastercard and others) through Stripe, or with Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal.
How long does delivery take?
We pack orders in our Portlaoise pharmacy, usually within 1 working day. Please allow 2 to 5 working days for delivery. We deliver Monday to Saturday. There are no deliveries on Sundays or bank holidays.
Working days are Monday to Saturday, not counting bank holidays. If something you ordered is out of stock, we will email you to let you know and agree what happens next.
How will I know my order is on its way?
We email you when your order leaves the pharmacy. The email includes your tracking details, so you can follow your parcel. If you have a question about where your parcel is, contact us with your order number and we will check it for you.
Please give an email address and phone number you check often, and include your Eircode in your address. This helps the courier find you.
What if I miss my delivery?
If you are not in, the courier will usually leave a note or send you a message with the next steps. If a parcel comes back to us, we will contact you to agree what happens next. Prescription deliveries are different. They must be signed for by you or someone you name.
Is the packaging discreet?
Yes. Every order goes out in plain, discreet packaging. We pack medicines with care so they arrive in good condition.
Do you deliver prescription medicines?
Yes, when you ask us to and our pharmacist agrees that delivery is suitable. You cannot buy prescription medicines through our online shop. We only supply them against a valid prescription. Your doctor can send your prescription straight to us by Healthmail.
Before we dispense anything, our pharmacist checks your prescription and contacts you to go through how to use and store your medicine. Our pharmacist decides each time whether delivery is suitable for you.
- Medicines that need a fridge: we send these by tracked, temperature-controlled (cold-chain) courier to an address in the Republic of Ireland. Delivery costs €10 and they usually arrive within 24 to 48 hours of dispatch. If shop items go in the same parcel, delivery is still €10 in total, not €6 plus €10. Put fridge medicines in the fridge as soon as they arrive.
- Medicines that do not need a fridge: we can deliver these too. Contact us to arrange it, on WhatsApp 085 840 7548 or by phone on 057 866 1999. We will tell you the cost and timing before we send them.
We only take payment for a prescription delivery after our pharmacist has checked your prescription and contacted you. We deliver Monday to Saturday, and we email you with your tracking details when your parcel leaves the pharmacy.
A prescription delivery is sent in sealed, discreet packaging and must be signed for by you or someone you name. The courier will not leave it unattended. If no one is in, the courier brings it back or rearranges delivery.
You can also collect prescription medicines from our pharmacy in Portlaoise and pay for them when you collect.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to addresses in the Republic of Ireland only. We cannot deliver to Northern Ireland, Great Britain or other countries.
What if my order is late or you cannot deliver it?
If we cannot deliver your order, we will refund what you paid for it, including the delivery charge. If your parcel is lost or damaged on the way, we will send a replacement or refund you in full.
Bad weather or busy periods can sometimes delay deliveries. If we know your order will be late, we will tell you. If your order has not arrived 5 working days after we sent it, please contact us with your order number and we will look into it. Your rights if an order is late are set out in our terms and conditions.
