Full Marks Solution 100ml

Description

Full Marks Solution 100ml is a head lice treatment that works on contact, without traditional insecticides. You apply it to dry hair, comb it through after a short treatment time and wash it out, using the fine metal comb in the pack to lift out dead lice and eggs.

How it works

Full Marks Solution is a medical device, not a medicine. Its ingredients, cyclomethicone and isopropyl myristate, coat head lice and their eggs and cause them to dehydrate. Because the action is physical rather than chemical, lice are not expected to build up resistance to it.

How to use

• Comb dry hair to remove tangles, then apply the solution until the hair and scalp are coated from root to tip.
• Leave on for 5 minutes, or for the time printed in your leaflet.
• Comb through in sections with the metal comb provided to remove dead lice and eggs.
• Wash out with an ordinary non-conditioning shampoo.
• Check again and repeat on day 7 and day 14 if live lice are found.

Suitable for

Adults and children aged 2 years and over. Each application uses about 50ml, so long or thick hair will need more. Keep away from the eyes. The solution is oily and combustible: keep treated hair away from naked flames and other heat sources, and do not smoke, until it has been washed out. It can stain fabrics and make floors and baths slippery, so protect clothing with a towel. Stop using it if the scalp becomes sensitive.

Good to know

Check everyone in the household with a detection comb and only treat those with a live louse. The 100ml bottle suits one child with short to medium hair; larger families may prefer the 200ml pack. Our pharmacists are happy to advise if you are unsure which treatment to choose.
