Lyclear Express Treat & Protect Shampoo & Comb 200ml

Description

Lyclear Express Shampoo & Comb 200ml (Treat & Protect) combines a 5 minute head lice treatment with a hair wash. Its Lice Protection Factor (LPF) technology is designed to help protect against re-infestation for up to 72 hours after use, based on laboratory (ex vivo) data.

How it works

This is a medical device with a physical action. The mineral oil based formula suffocates and dehydrates head lice and their eggs. It contains no insecticide, so lice are unlikely to develop resistance to it.

How to use

• Check dry hair section by section with the fine-toothed comb in the pack.
• Apply a generous amount evenly to dry hair, covering all the hair and scalp, especially the neck and behind the ears.
• Leave for 5 minutes.
• Add water to work up a lather, then wash and rinse thoroughly.
• Before drying, comb through with the anti-lice comb to remove lice and eggs.

Suitable for

Adults and children aged 2 years and over. Keep out of the eyes and mucous membranes; if contact occurs, rinse well with water. Keep treated hair away from heat sources and naked flames until it has been washed out. Stop using it if irritation or an allergic reaction occurs. Ask our pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if the scalp is broken or irritated.

Good to know

The short treatment time makes this a practical option on busy school evenings. The 72 hour protection does not replace regular checks, so keep combing weekly while lice are going around the class. Our pharmacists are happy to help if lice keep coming back.
